With the kids getting out of school, we’re dreaming about a fabulously fun family vacation. To find the ideal locale, we decided to look to our designs for inspiration.
Hawaii – Our Over the Rainbow Big Sister Tshirt has us singing “Aloha Oe” and imagining ourselves in the Rainbow State, sipping cold drinks on one of the many beaches while the kids splash in the ocean.
Italy – Days strolling through ancient ruins, telling tales of gladiators while eating gelato, come to mind when we look at small, fast moving cars on the Go! Tshirt in our line of personalized shirts for kids.
Grand Canyon – Between the Woodland Fun and Hoot! Hoot! personalized growth charts, not to mention the Playful Owls Big Brother Tshirt and Flying Hoottees and personalized baby onesie, it’s obvious we have a soft spot for owls, so a conservation minded trip to the Grand Canyon, a refuge for the close to extinction Spotted Owl, is a no brainer.

UNDER THE SEA
We were seriously jonesing for a day at the beach when we designed our newest personalized growth chart – which we’re showing you here before it’s even been launched. The Under the Sea personalized growth charts will be offered in three different color options and feature a happy whale, a sweet glasses-wearing octopus, a jaunty hat-wearing turtle, a darling seahorse, and of course a myriad of colorful fish.
And if you’re a Little Mermaid fan like we are, you can’t help but think the little crabs at the bottom are singing the words to “Under The Sea” in a Jamaican accent like Sebastian the Crab.

FATHER’S DAY PHOTO OPP
Father’s Day is in two weeks and one of the most personal gifts you can give is a special photo of the kids or the family as a whole. Here are some ideas for creating the perfect Father’s Day photo.
Pick a location, preferably a spot the family knows well and loves, like:
– on the staircase a la The Brady Bunch

– along the shore at the beach, lake or river
– a mountaintop or favorite hiking trail
Dress up:

Of course, no birthday is complete without a delicious cake. And while it’s quite possible we’d buy it instead of bake it ourselves; we went to the experts at Wilton to see some of their awesome decorating ideas for birthday cakes. Wow is all we can say!

FUN GIFTS FOR DAD
We’ve got some great dad designers on staff here who have helped create our adorable personalized growth charts and personalized shirts for kids (like the Little & Big Sister Tshirt and Big Brother Tshirt designs). So for all of their hard work, and for being awesome parental units of course, we had to pull together the best gift ideas for Father’s Day.
Two Tickets to Paradise: Ok, a trip to Hawaii might not be in the budget, but some tickets to a ball game, festival, or concert he’s being dying to see will definitely rock his world.
Go Go Gadget: A pair of high quality Bose headphones, a rad iPad case, or even a photo collage mouse pad are perfect choices for the techie gadget-loving dad.
Support His Hobby: If Dad is a griller, think about getting him a personalized apron or fancy grill accessory. Into golf or other sport?
