With the mind-blowing amount of cars, trucks, bikes, boats, motorcycles, airplanes and more that your little one scatters around the house on a daily basis, there’s only one thing that can keep a well-ordered parent sane: storage . . . and lots of it.
Let’s face it, your kiddo’s love for anything on wheels is here to stay, but there’s just so much of it and so little space to put it in. (Not to mention the unintentional harm that a toy on wheels can cause if stepped on during your early morning voyage to the coffee maker.) But don’t be fooled by a toy chest; kids just dump their toys in there and it becomes a huge mess. The key is in finding (or building) an organized system to contain, arrange and display your kid’s mechanical toys, and with any luck, dad will become inspired and finally organize the garage like he’s promised to do all year!
There are lots of options out there, but the following four ideas will keep the clutter neat, tidy and fully functional.
