Tshirts can easily accumulate in your home — free shirts from 5K’s, school events, volunteering, or simply your kids just grow out of them. Instead of getting rid of them, recycle them into a rug! This is a fun project to do with the kids, and remember the fun times from their tees.

We found some basic instructions for a braided Tshirt here or the shaggy style Tshirt Rug here. If you want exact colors, like our examples above, you could use fabric die. Or, how about a Tie Dye or Ombre colored rug? The possibilities are endless.
