We know a guy or two (mmm hmmm, yeah you!) who have a room filled with memorabilia dedicated to their favorite team. So it’s no surprise many dads, and moms, look to their fave team logos and/or colors, as well as sporting equipment, for inspiration when it comes to decorating a sports-themed nursery or kid’s room.
Of course if not everyone is gung-ho on the idea of a full-on team inspired room design, we found a nice compromise. This sports-themed nursery we found on Dear Weekend blog isn’t too matchy-matchy or heavily themed and the hand painted wall art also makes it feel more custom, which should make everyone happy.
To add another personal touch, we think the Junior Varsity personalized growth chart in Sky Blue would look great, as would simpler, pennant-style personalized growth charts, like the Perfect Pennant in Roaring Red or Navy Blue or Preppy Pennant in Sky Blue.
