Love the color pink? We sure do! There are so many different shades of this sweet hue that it’s easy to create the perfect nursery to fit your style. We’ve found a few pink colored nursery designs that we adore and paired them with our personalized growth charts.

COLOR US HAPPY
Winter can be gray and dreary at times, so having colorful accents in the home and in our wardrobes helps keep the blahs away. We even created wintry-themed coloring pages to give the kiddos something fun to do while they’re cooped up inside. That got us thinking about crayons and colored pencils and how we love creating our line of personalized growth charts, big brother tshirts, and big sister tees so much, those “tools” have turned up in our designs. They make us happy and we hope it will also inspire the wee ones to play, create, and have fun with color!
Our new Kids Play Big Sister Tshirt design is all about having fun, so it’s brightly hued with a big orange crayon front and center.
As designers we can’t help but love the fact that the Love to Sketch Big Sister Tshirt and Big Brother Tshirt is one of our most popular designs – which means you love to sketch too!
Our personalized growth charts are all colorful, but the stacked pencils in the Color Megrowth chart make us want to grab our pack and start to draw every time.

HANGING PAPER PERSONALIZED GROWTH CHARTS
Earlier this week we posted a great new how-to video on hanging canvas personalized growth charts (click here), but we’ve also come up with two fresh ideas for hanging paper charts using a baby clothes hanger or a ribbon.
Using Baby Clothes Hanger
1. Attach the growth chart to the hanger (a pants hanger is best, but any one with clips will work)
2. Hang the clothes hanger onto a 3M wall hook
Using a Ribbon
1. Using a wooden paint stir stick (cut down to size if needed), attach it to the top back of the growth chart with a glue dot or other adhesive. If needed, attach one to the bottom to add weight if the chart is curling.
2. Cut ribbon to size, then tie a knot in the top and glue it to the back of the wooded paint stir stick
3. Hang it up on a 3M wall hook
Have you hung your personalized growth charts in a unique way?

HOW TO HANG A PERSONALIZED GROWTH CHART
We’ve offered ideas on how to hang personalized growth charts and have even produced a how-to video (click here to watch), but thought we would revisit the topic again now that it’s a new year and many of you may have given or received a growth chart as a gift during the holidays.
A few tips include:
– choose a location that isn’t in direct sunlight, as direct sunlight will, over time, fade your personalized growth chart
– we love to hang our growth charts with 3M hooks. They are inexpensive, you can find them at most retailers, they come in several different finishes and varieties, you don’t need a drill or other tools, and you can remove them without ruining your walls or paint.
– use a tape measure or yard stick to measure 24″ from the floor to the bottom of where your growth chart will hang

STAIN REMOVAL TIPS
Last week we shared with you care instructions for our personalized tshirts for kids. You can read all about how to care for our tees here. This week we wanted to share some stain removal tips for all of our tees. We know how messy kids can be, especially when they start to feed themselves.
To create our stains we used a mixed berry juice, chocolate sauce and tomato sauce
We stained our tees, used our stain removers and washed them in regular detergent through a regular cycle.
For our stain removers, we wanted to try a mix of “old-school”, “mom approved” stain removers along with common stain removers you probably already have in your laundry room.
1. Shout
2. De-Pee Stain Remover
3. Grandma’s Secret Spot Remover
4. Fels-Naptha Soap
5. Mixture of hydrogen peroxide, dish soap and baking soda
6. Boiling hot water (not shown above)
Let’s get started …
Shout removed the berry stain completely, but left a little bit of the tomato and chocolate sauce.
De-Pee had about the same result as Shout — the berry juice was removed and the chocolate and tomato sauce stains were still hanging on.
Next we have Grandma’s Secret Spot Remover and Fels-Naptha bar soap. Grandma’s did a great job! You can see below that all three stains were removed.
Fels-Naptha also did a great job! As you can see, all three stains are gone.
And then we have our hydrogen peroxide, baking soda and dish soap combo — which we scrubbed into each stain with a toothbrush. This was a great little tip! It removed all three stains really well.
And then we wanted to try a bleach pen. We do not recommend using bleach on our tees, however we thought it would be good to show you what happened. We put the bleach directly over the blue and green letters, as well as the stains — and we were surprised when the bleach did not discolor the print, and we were also surprised that there was still plenty of chocolate sauce left over.
We then put bleach pen over the red and yellow part of the print below, and you can see that it totally faded out the print. So, we still do not suggest using a bleach pen on our tees as the print may fade.
And finally, we put boiling water over a berry juice stain. This one is an oldie but a goodie — and it works only for berry stains like juice or red wine.
So to wrap things up, to protect your personalized baby onesies, big brother tshirts, and big sister tees, so they stay in tip top shape and stay beautiful baby keepsakes, we suggest the following:
GOOD: Fels-Naptha bar sopa, hydrogen peroxide + baking soda + dish soap mixture, boiling water over berry stains, and Grandma’s Secret Spot Remover
NOT SO GOOD: Shout, De-Pee, and Bleach pen
WINTER SIBLING STYLE
Brrrr, it’s cold out there! This chilly winter weather means we’re all having to bundle up to stay warm (yes, even here in “sunny” California), but of course we don’t want to make our kids look like Ralphie’s little brother in “A Christmas Story.” Remember when he fell down and couldn’t get back up again because he was so weighed down by all the winter gear his mom made him put on? That scene is hysterical, but we want our little ones to be super warm, comfy and cute!
We’ve rounded up some cozy pieces to keep siblings feeling toasty warm while still looking cool.
Of course a great jacket is all-important and we just loved the faux fur lined hoods on these sleek black coats for boys and girls from Rudsak Kids.
Layering is a great way to stay warm. Consider having kids wear a basic undershirt with a stylish long-sleeve tee over it. Designs with icy shades of blue, like the Playful Doodles Big Sister Tshirt, Double Trouble Big Brother Tshirt, Snowy Name, or Penguin Delight photo tee, are a cool way to do it. And for the super wee ones, personalized baby onesies are always a perfect starting point for any outfit.
These high performance fleece gloves from Columbia will not only keep little hands from getting chilled, they have a palm grip so kids can easily accomplish tasks without having to take them off.
In rain or snow, your little one’s toesies will stay warm and dry in these Sorel boots for boys and girls alike.
