If all that glitters is gold, our new collection of Glitter Fun tshirts would be rich! But really – it’s not gold that makes these puppies sparkle and shine; it’s that each Glitter Fun tshirt design is made of super soft, thick cotton with premium glitter securely applied to each shirt. The glitter material is heat transferred so it’s thick and durable, and won’t fade or fall off.
Like all of our personalized shirts for kids, Glitter Fun tshirts are available in onesies and cap sleeve, long sleeve, and baseball sleeve tshirts. And with your choice of either pink or aqua blue glitter, Glitter Fun tshirts are full of glittery fun for all!

MURAL MURAL ON THE WALL
A great way to inspire a sense of adventure, a love of animals, or a respect for the great outdoors in a child is to surround them with it from the very beginning. A mural in their room is one way to do that.
We know we were inspired by these amazing room designs that feature murals and are sure to influence their little inhabitants. To further customize these rooms, we’d add a personalized growth chart or alphabet poster.
In order from top to bottom, we think the 1-10 in Lime Green, Woodland Fun, Perfect Pennant in Navy Blue or Roaring Red, and Monkey Pals personalized growth charts would pair nicely with each mural below.
California Home & Design recently featured this vibrant room with a map mural that lets kids know there’s a big world out there to explore.
This mural on ApartmentTherapy.com makes us hum “Home on the Range.”
This lighthouse mural on ElleDecor.com is bound to instill a love of the sea.
And this banana tree mural is just as fun as a barrel of monkeys.
Which mural is your favorite and which of our personalized growth charts would you choose to accent it?
PUMPED UP KICKS
It used to be that baby shoes were big, white, and clunky. Then you receive a pair that is black and teal patent with metallic gold accents from Jay Z’s Rocawear line at your baby shower and you know times have changed! Nowadays, shoes are just as much a part of creating an outfit for your wee one as your shoes are. And honestly, with all of the adorable options out there for both boys and girls, it’s really pretty fun putting together the ideal shoe-outfit combo.
We searched online to find some cute pairs to match up with our personalized shirts for kids and found some that would go perfectly with our Big Sister Tshirt and Big Brother Tshirt designs.
A Big Sister Tshirt, like Glitter Fun, with these sweet, sparkly shoes from Toms means your little girl will not only look super cute, but a child somewhere else in the world will get their own much needed pair of shoes as well. That’s a win-win!
(We found this particular pair online at Nordstrom.com)
To dress up a Big Brother Tshirt, like Busy Bulldozer, there are mini-me versions of leather driving shoes (seriously!) or these too-cool-for-school brown suede boots.
(Find these online at Piperlime.com)
Of course for a more casual look, a pair of mini Chuck T’s can’t be beat for your little one, while also bringing back some fond memories of your own youth.
(We found these Converse high tops in pink and classic black at DSW.com)
Or if you’re feeling crafty, create a totally custom outfit by making these to-die-for fringed booties to coordinate with any of our personalized shirts for kids. Just follow the simple tutorial found here from FortheLoveofBlogTherapy.com.
Does your child’s shoe collection rival your own?
NURSERY NOOKS
If you live in a big, urban city or just have a small home, having enough space for a separate nursery is a bit of a luxury. But square footage shouldn’t matter when it comes to making room for a new baby if mom and dad can get creative and work with the space they’ve got – like a walk-in closet, staircase alcove, or even a spare wall.
To create your very own nursery nook, paint the space in a color that separates it from the surrounding rooms. Pick double-duty furniture like a crib that doubles as a changing table. Be sure to remove any excess clutter from the space and reduce the amount of items you will keep on hand for the baby. And remember, you don’t have to dedicate an entire wall to a mural in order to make a big design statement. Simply spruce up any bare wall with an alphabet poster or personalized growth chart to add color, texture and customized character.
Just look at the amazing and resourceful nursery nooks we found online. Genius!

FUN & FASHIONABLE ACCESSORIES
Let’s face it – shirts, pants, and shoes do not make an outfit. Sure, they’re enough to get you out the door in the morning, but if you’re really looking to add OOMPH and STYLE to your ensemble, it’s all in the accessories. Accessories are all about creating your own personal style, and shouldn’t look tacked on or uninteresting. After all, the point is to enhance the overall look of your outfit, not distract from it.
Take our new line of personalized shirts for kids as an example. We’ve paired three of our big sister tshirt designs with a fun and fashionable accessory that makes each adorable big sister tshirt rock even more. Which look is your favorite?

NURSERY TREND: MONOGRAMS
We’re all about personalization, so it’s no secret that we love a monogram design. Whether it’s on a necklace, bath towel, throw pillow, wall stencil, big brother tshirt or a big sister tshirt, we dig it. Decorating your nursery or kiddo’s room with a monogram is a sophisticated way to accent the space while making it feel very personal. Plus, a monogram is timeless, so you never have to worry about it going out of style.
Here are a few tutorials we found to get you started making monogrammed accent pieces for your nursery or kiddo’s room, because it’s even more special when it’s handmade.
Tutorial for Yarn Wrapped Monogram Letter from Evie-S.com
Tutorial for Monogram Felt Pillow (would be cute on a chair or on their bed) from TheSweetSurvival.BlogSpot.com

To further personalize the room, add a personalized growth chart or an alphabet poster. We picked out a few personalized growth charts that would really accent any monogrammed décor pieces. Which of our personalized growth charts would you choose?
FOR RENT
Want to create your dream nursery or kid’s playroom but you’re not allowed to paint, add wainscoting or install some fancy new chandelier because you’re a renter? No problem, there’s plenty you can do with the room’s design that’ll have impact and still let you get your deposit back when the time comes.
Once you’ve picked the color or décor theme, choose a mixture of the following décor elements to create the perfect setting for your wee one:
Pick a large wow piece to be the focal point in the room. A bold or patterned piece of furniture, like a cushy striped chair, or furnishings, like a multi-colored floor rug, will add a dramatic pop.
(We found this fabulous chair on amyfurstenau.blogspot.com)
(This perfectly patterned rug we found on apartmenttherapy.com)
Wall art is another great way to bring color and interest to a room without painting, especially now that there are removable wall decals and wall paper.
(Check out our entire Petite Lemon collection of removable wall decals with WeeDecor.com)
(Check out Jordan Ferney’s review of removable wallpaper here.)
The 3M Command removable picture hangers and hooks are a wonderful solution for hanging up framed pictures, as well as your child’s personalized alphabet posterand/or personalized growth chart. Personalized growth charts are especially great because they not only easily tie in with a range of décor themes, they also can go with you if or when you move.

NOT TOO TUFF PUFFS – DIY TULLE PUFF TUTORIAL
With Easter right around the corner, now is the time to add fun, springy pops of color to your décor. We found this tutorial for tissue paper pom poms from Martha Stewart and adapted it by using light as air tulle fabric.
To make these pretty tulle puffs, you’ll need:
• 6″ spools of tulle (we used pink, purple, green, and yellow)
• scissors
• thread
Step One: Cut 12″ strips of tulle. We cut 30 lengths — this made our puffs nice and full. Cut your tulle to any length depending on how large you want your puffs to be.
Step 2: Cut the stack of strips in half, lengthwise.
Step 3: Fold the stacks in a loose, accordion fold. The fold won’t really stay in place since the tulle is very soft, but that is OK. Stack your 2 accordion-folded strips together.
Step 4: Tie all of the strips together in the middle with thread.
Step 5: Separate each layer to make your puff fluff.
Step 6: Display! We hung ours from our dining room chandelier to create the Easter brunch ambience.
These tulle puffs would also made a darling addition to a nursery — above a changing table or crib — right next to your personalized growth chart! Check out our entire collection of personalized growth charts here.
And if you’re still shopping for Easter goodies for your little ones, check out our Personalized Growth Charts and our brand new big brother tshirtand big sister tshirt collection!
