There’s nothing like the joy of watching wee ones open up their presents, whether it’s on Christmas morning or on one of the eight nights of Hanukkah. It’s something we all look forward to, how about you?
If you’re looking for some holiday gift giving inspiration for your kiddos, as creators of personalized baby gifts, big brother shirts and big sister shirts, we know a thing or two about thoughtful gifts. We polled some of our team members and asked them what their favorite big brother shirts and big sister shirts are and they gave us some personal insight into the designs they chose.
HILLARY, art director, heads up most of the design inspiration for our line of personalized baby gifts, so it’s tough for her to pick which big brother shirts and big sister shirts are her favorite. She has a two year old, Lily, who became a big sister earlier this year and when they announced the pregnancy Lily wore the Color It Up Big Sister Tshirt, so of course that design has a lot of meaning to her. And now that she has two girls, she’s especially fond of the Over the Rainbow Big Sister Tshirt, which she plans to give to Lily along with the coordinating onesie to new baby June.
RUTH, operations manager, is all about SPORTS!! She’s even a referee, so of course her fave big brother t shirt design is the Batter Up Big Brother T shirt.
LEON, web developer, and his son, Zeke, LOVE superheroes – actually their whole family does. So of course his big brother t shirt design of choice is the Super Big Brother T shirt.
CATHERINE, production director, is a major traveler who lived in the United Kingdom last spring and summer and most recently spent the last several months living in Brooklyn. Her love of travel means she can’t help but gravitate towards the Around the World Big Brother T shirt and Big Sister Tshirt.
If you’re looking for personalized baby gifts, we hope the big brother shirts and big sister shirts some of our team picked will help inspire you. We’ll offer some additional ideas for personalized baby gifts from more of our staff next week.

All American Style
School is out and it’s time to bring on the summer outfits and have some good old-fashioned fun in the sun. We pulled together some all-American style outfits with our personalized tshirts for kids that are perfect for 4th of July and beyond.
Future President tees with white Drawstring Cargo Shorts from OldNavy.com for boys and Cuffed Skinny Denim Shorts for girls from OldNavy.com make a cool summer set.
For an old school American rock-n-roll summer style, we’d pair the Rock On Big Sister Tshirt with Girls Shorty Shorts from Levi’s and the Rock On Big Brother Tshirt with Boys Holster Shorts from Levi’s.
Baseball is as American as Apple Pie, so we’d match up the All Star Slugger personalized baby onesies with Star Bubble Shorts from Gap for girls and Checkered Shorts from Gap for boys.
Which of these outfits is your fave?
Happy Cinco de Mayo!
Cinco de Mayo is this Sunday and though margaritas, guacamole, and mariachis are a fun way for mamas and daddies to celebrate this cultural Mexican holiday, the kiddos would prefer a fun fiesta with piñatas. We’ve rounded up some fun kids’ activities and gifts to pay homage to the 5th of May.
SheKnows.com has several fun Cinco de Mayo themed DIY tutorials, including this one for paper cup Maracas.
Do your wee ones speak Spanish? Whether they’re bilingual or not, the multilingual Around the World Big Sister Tshirtand Big Brother Tshirt from our line of personalized tshirts for kids make a fun way to inspire an interest in languages.
While you’re making a taco bar (ideas here), give the kids something to color, like this printable page from HappyThought.
This table setting with ice cream cone piñatas from Oh Happy Day blog is perfect for a festive Cinco de Mayo meal. Fill the piñatas with little gifts, baby keepsakes, and candies to finish off a fun day.

HOLIDAY SIBLING OUTFITS
Does this picture bring back memories?
We saw this pic on Pinterest of matching holiday outfits and it definitely gave us flashbacks of when we were dressed in matching outfits with our siblings. It makes us laugh to think about it now, but realistically we’re not so different from our parents and we also want our wee ones to dress up special for the holidays. We’d choose something a bit more fresh and modern though, while still coordinating.
We pulled together some ideas of how to get that festive look for siblings:
Though each sibling has their own design, the matching red baseball sleeves pull the look together (and make excellent personalized childrens gifts too).
Maybe not something they’d wear for anything other than a photo shoot for holiday cards, these crocheted elf outfits will definitely become baby keepsakes. (photo from DisneyBaby.com)
Candy cane striped leggings, like these from Gap, with a coordinating top, like a big sister tshirt or personalized baby onesies, make the look cohesive without being too matchy-matchy.
The Looks Like Me Elf tees or any red, white and/or green outfit will look even more festive with these super sweet elf hats we found on LilSugar.
