People look for baby naming inspiration pretty much anywhere and everywhere, including their favorite horror movies and TV shows. And with Halloween only a few weeks away, we’re sure there are plenty of parents out there watching those shows to get in the spirit of this frightfully fun holiday. Of course we know they don’t really want a little vampire or monster on their hands, but the sound of some of the characters’ names will still appeal to them. After all, when you like a name, you just like it!
We picked a few big brother shirts and big sister shirts that would be fitting for a little one with a name inspired by new or classic scary movies.
Even if they bring to mind some pretty scary characters, there’s no denying that Carrie and Damien are both really nice names. (Shown: Stamped Style Big Brother T shirt and Big Sister Tshirt)
Are you a fan of the Child’s Play movies or just like the name Charles and its diminutive Chuck (or Chucky)? Though Tiffany seems like an upbeat girl’s name from the 80’s, a fan of those movies will also know it’s Chucky’s bride’s name. (shown: Kids Play Big Brother T shirt and Big Sister Tshirt)
There’s no doubt that the Twilight movies, True Blood, and the wealth of vampire movies and TV shows that have become so popular have produced new names, as well as revived some classic ones. (Shown: Chic Style Big Brother T shirt and Big Sister Tshirt; Looks Like Me Big Sister Tshirt and Retro Style Big Brother T shirt)
Did a horror movie or monstrously famous TV show inspire your wee one’s name? If so, which of these big brother shirts and big sister shirts would you choose for them?

Naming Trends – Rhymes with “Aiden”
We all know Aiden has been one of the most popular boy’s names over the last several years, but several names that rhyme with it are also incredibly popular – one even surpassing it in popularity. According to the Social Security Administration, Aiden was the 10th most common boy’s name in 2012 while Jayden was actually #7. Brayden came in at #39, Kayden was #99, and Hayden was #109, making names that end with “Ayden” a continuing trend.

Which big brother shirtswould you choose that are just as hip and cool as they are?Love the sound of these names so much, they inspired you twice?
